Course Objectives In this course, it is aimed to provide students with knowledge, skills and competency on the concepts, theories, approaches, systems, functions and practices related to Human Resources Management. The basic concepts of human resource management, its functions and its role in terms of organizations will be examined. In addition, strategic human resources management, job analysis and job design, human resources planning and candidate research, employee selection, training and development, performance evaluation, career management, wage and reward management, employee health and safety, employee empowerment, coaching and mentoring will be discussed.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Understanding the importance and purpose of human resource management
  • Being able to apply the basic principles of human resource management
  • Being able to adapt the systems and techniques of human resource management according to the conditions
Course Content Strategic human resource management, certain ethical, legal and social considerations, staffing, human resource development, compensation and benefits, safety and health, employee and labor relations.
