| Course Objectives | Apart from these courses, it aims to encourage its students to think critically by introducing the basic theoretical concepts and discussions in the fields of race, ethnicity and gender. In this context, academic discussions on the concepts of gender/gender, racism, intersectionality and nationalism will deepen in the first five weeks of education. In the 6th and 7th weeks of the course, the relationship between the concepts of race and nationalism with masculine and feminine identities is analyzed. In the following weeks, the bond between family and homeland will be evaluated in terms of gender and nationalism, consuming and fascism will be examined through the great migration to the lives of consumers. The last two weeks of the course will focus on the reflections of the concepts discussed in the previous weeks in Turkey. |
