Course Objectives Doing a graphic design project using media by developing the past knowledge and experience in accordance with the lesson content.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Develop projects using any media
  • Produce different designs to put their projects into practice
  • Apply different advertisement and visual printings by using different materials
Course Content Typography, image, advertising, the graphic elements of the photo for the purpose of communication, by considering the target audience so that they form a whole design and implementation.

1 Definition of book cover design, examination of examples. Choosing books and starting projects. Giving the homework project.
2 Introducing and analyzing examples from important book cover designers. Critique of project drafts. Reviewing methods and samples for homework project.
3 Practice and critiques of projects. Design trials on image and typographic elements.
4 Practice and critiques of projects..
5 Practice and critiques of projects. Design revisions in act upon with criticism.
6 Practice and critiques of projects. Preparation and revisions for the midterm ( jury). Receiving and criticising proofs. Completion of the homework project.

8 Introduction to poster design. Giving topics for poster projects.
9 Discussing of examples from important poster designs from the history of Graphic Design. Practice and critiques of projects.
