Course Objectives The main objective of this course is to present an overview the role chemistry play in engineering, environment and technology by enhancing the analytical thinking skills of the students. Therefore students will develop their critical thinking and problem solving skills and will enhance their cyclo-motor skills on the application of the chemistry on different concepts by laboratory practices
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
Course Content Matter and measurement, atoms, molecules and ions, stoichiometry: calculations with chemical formulas and equations, oxidation-reduction reactions, thermochemistry, electronic structure of atoms, periodic properties of the elements, basic concepts of chemical bonding, molecular geometry and bonding theories, gases, intermolecular forces, liquids
