Terms of Application:

  • Applications are made in accordance with the provisions of the Directive on the Principles of Student Transfer between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs (click for the Directive).

Documents required for application:

  • Application Form (click to download): The candidates applying for more than one program are required to fill out one application form, where their preferences must be indicated, and to make photocopies for each program. All other required documents accompany these photocopies.
  • Student Letter (signed and sealed by the Directorate)
  • Transcripts (in a closed envelope). Original copy of the official document showing all courses, credits and grades as well as the GPA on a term basis. Signed and sealed, these transcripts are obtained from the respective department/school at the institution from where the applicant is being transferred.
  • Course Content (signed and sealed)
  • Hard copies of Student Selection Examination and Undergraduate Placement Exam(LYS)/Transition to Higher Education Exam (YGS) Results of the related year
  • For English medium departments, Certificate of Completion of English Preparatory Program or a nationally/internationally recognized Foreign Language Certificate course meeting the requirements of foreign language exemption criteria of Atilim University English Preparatory School Regulations
  • For the applicants from outside Turkey, the respective country’s higher education institution and programs must be recognized by the Turkish Council of Higher Education as an institution authorized to offer associate or bachelor’s degree programs. The respective department at Atilim University has to approve of the equivalence between applicant’s higher education program and applied associate or bachelor’s degree program.
  • Signed and sealed clean disciplinary records certificate
  • For the School of Civil Aviation, an authenticated copy of the high school diploma

Notes

  • The School of Foreign Languages has to approve any form of foreign language certificate from applicants.

** For registration, students admitted to the School of Civil Aviation need the following documents

AVIONICS - Clean records certificate or official letter
AIRFRAME AND POWERPLANT MAINTENANCE -Health certificate given by a hospital (colorblindness, hearing loss, vision loss, etc.)
PILOT TRAINING -Criminal record or official letter
-Prospective students must meet the requirements of the Article 24 of “Aircraft Pilot License Regulation (SHY-1)” published in Official Gazette No. 26190 dated 06.06.2006.
-First-class health certificate issued by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (GDCA in Turkey) or its authorized centers (the certificate has to state no limitations for flying as pilot-in-command. Within the frame of the Airplane Pilot License Regulation (SHY-1), the students shall be responsible for all issues to arise from the becoming inconvenient for aviating during their education)

Applications shall be made to the Directorate of Student Affairs in person. Posting documents, late application, and missing documents shall invalidate applications.

Terms of Application:

  • Subject to Additional Article 1 of the Regulations on the Principles of Student Transfers between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, Minor Program and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer at Higher Education Institutions, transfers are made in accordance with the principles and guidelines for higher education institutions in the fall and spring terms click to read principles, and the provisions of the Directive on the Principles of Student Transfer between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs click for the directive.

Candidates applying for more than one major are required to fill out one application form, where preferences are indicated and the form is photocopied for each separate major. The candidates must submit all required documents along with these photocopies.
  • Student Letter (signed and sealed by the Directorate)
  • Transcripts (in a closed envelope). Original copy of the official document showing all courses, credits and grades as well as the GPA on a term basis.   • A letter signed and sealed by the institution of origin stating that the applicant has not had an undergraduate transfer before and within the scope of additional article-1
  • Authenticated copy of the high school diploma of the students applying the School of Civil Aviation
