The final presentations of the capstone projects conducted within the scope of the AE432 Capstone Project II course in the Spring Semester of 2025–2026 were held on June 22, 2026. Our students presented their projects on current topics in automotive engineering in sessions attended by faculty members and fellow students.
Five capstone projects were presented over the course of the day. The projects, together with their authors and supervisors, are listed below:
- SMA-Based Actuator for Automotive Applications. Authors: Ramazan Hakan Köksal, Olgu Üstün, Adnan Emre Seyfelioğlu, Cem Aksoy. Supervisor: Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Fallah
- Metamaterials for Automotive Application. Authors: Arda Ölmez, İbrahim Onur Kılıç, Sezin Selamoğlu, Sadullah Öztürk. Supervisor: Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Fallah
- Development of a 4-DOF Printing System for Additive Manufacturing of Continuous Fiber-Reinforced Composites for Automotive Applications. Authors: Nureddin Saadet, Luc Rurisa. Supervisor: Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Fallah
- Hydrogen Generation via Electrolysis for Clean Energy Applications. Authors: Burak Çetin, Alicem Doğan, Alparslan İlhan, Ebenezer Simalenga, Doğa Toprak. Supervisor: Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Emin
- Flexible Front Wing Design for Aerodynamic Applications. Authors: Mustafa Emre Özkan, Görkem Ertaş, Yunus Emre Gökdemir, Buse Karagöz, Hilal Görkem Paylar. Supervisor: Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Emin
A poster presentation session accompanied by a coffee break was also held as part of the event. Following each presentation, a question-and-answer session was held to support the development of the students’ technical knowledge and presentation skills.
