Welcome to the website of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Atılım University, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences.

Our Master’s and PhD programs in Mechanical Engineering actively continue their education, teaching, and research activities. We possess a strong research infrastructure and a dedicated faculty focused on the analysis of engineering problems in industrial fields through functional, economic, and efficient approaches with original and innovative solutions. Our fundemental philosophy is based on the validation of numerical and analytical solutions through experimental testing in laboratory environments, utilizing both mechanical engineering discipline and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Our primary mission is to train graduate-level engineers through a contemporary education and research infrastructure. We aim to cultivate professionals who can analyze advanced technology and generate innovative approaches; develop original designs; master and apply research methods; and implement research and project outputs. Furthermore, we strive to produce up-to-date and high value-added studies and products in leading industries such as energy, space, aerospace, defense, medical, and automotive.

Securing new projects and conducting research with national and international support, carrying out university-industry cooperation projects, and designing our graduate studies within the scope of these efforts are among our key objectives. In line with this vision, we look forward to welcoming new students to our Master’s and PhD programs.
