The Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences: Online Seminar Series
As the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, we have selected Prof. Dr. Burcu Akıncı, Head of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, as the first guest for the series of academic talks we plan to hold online throughout the year. She will be serving as the Dean of the College of Engineering at the same university starting in January 2026. Information links for Professor Burcu Akıncı are provided below:

In these online talks, which will last approximately 1 hour, we plan to bring together Turkish researchers working at the world's leading universities and research centers with our students and faculty members. Our Turkish researchers participating in the talks will share their experiences and knowledge with us, particularly informing our graduate students about developments on the international platforms.
The goal of these talks is to contribute to our university's research ecosystem, inform our students about opportunities abroad, and prepare the groundwork for potential collaborations.
Online Presentation Date: 14 January 2026, at 17:00
