A Spectacular Graduation Fashion Show by Atılım University Department of Textile and Fashion Design: "Z Land: A Place of My Own"
The Department of Textile and Fashion Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Design and Architecture, Atılım University, successfully held its graduation fashion show under the theme "Z Land: A Place of My Own" as part of the 2025–2026 Graduation Project Exhibition.
Showcasing the culmination of four years of academic and creative development, senior students presented original collections that reflected their individual identities, creativity, and unique design approaches. Centered on Generation Z's search for personal space, identity, and self-expression, the project theme encouraged students to explore concepts such as belonging, transformation, authenticity, and individuality through the language of fashion design.
Each collection represented the outcome of an intensive process involving research, conceptual development, experimentation with materials, design, and garment production. Rather than simply creating garments, the students transformed their personal narratives into compelling visual expressions, presenting three-look collections in a professionally organized runway show.
The graduation project was supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. S. Egemen Nadaşbaş, Dr. Faculty Member Ş. Gaye Ayanoğlu Örs, and Research Assistant Sema Nur Görgülü. The project served as an important platform for demonstrating the students' creative thinking, critical perspectives, and design development skills.
The fashion show attracted significant interest from the audience, who highly appreciated the originality of the collections, the students' technical proficiency, and the strong conceptual narratives behind each design. As one of the Department's most significant annual events, the graduation fashion show successfully highlighted the Department of Textile and Fashion Design's commitment to design-oriented education while celebrating the creativity and professional achievements of its graduating students.
