The seminar titled “Listening to the World with One Ear: Understanding Single-Sided Deafness and Its Effects on the Developing Brain”,
organized by the Department of Audiology, Faculty of Health Sciences at Atılım University, was successfully held on 22 August 2025 with the insightful presentation of Dr. Zeynep Ateş. The session covered the neuroplastic effects of single-sided deafness on the developing brain, current clinical assessment approaches, and recent scientific evidence.
