Atılım University's Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences was established on July 17, 1997, and officially began its activities in the Spring semester of the 2001-2002 academic year with the launch of the Computer Engineering Master's program. Currently, our Graduate School offers 14 thesis-based master's programs, 12 non-thesis master's programs (requiring graduation projects), and 8 doctoral programs. These are spread across a total of 16 departments within the Faculties of Arts and Sciences, Fine Arts, and Engineering. All our postgraduate programs, with the exception of the Architecture Doctoral and Architecture Master's programs, are taught in English. The rapid advancements in today's technology significantly impact fields such as science, engineering, and architecture, and the demand for skilled and specialized labor in these new development areas has been increasing steadily. To meet these evolving needs, our Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences provides students with a dynamic learning environment and laboratory facilities. These resources enable them to follow current technological developments and solve real-world problems by considering interdisciplinary approaches. Furthermore, our Graduate School supports and encourages the establishment of new postgraduate programs, especially considering the urgent needs in interdisciplinary research areas.

One of our Graduate School’s important goals is to cultivate qualified researchers in science and engineering fields. We aim to prepare them with the scientific and technological competence required by the demands of the current era. To this end, our Graduate School offers support to our students through its highly qualified academic staff, state-of-the-art laboratory, and extensive research facilities. To contribute to our students' academic and professional development, we also organize seminars and workshops. We actively encourage our students’ participation in exchange programs and scientific conferences, providing them with invaluable opportunities to gain international experience.
