Nursing is a respected and dynamic profession that integrates scientific knowledge, ethical values, and a human-centred approach to care. It aims to protect and promote the health of individuals, families, and communities and to enhance their quality of life. Our department seeks not only to equip students with professional knowledge and skills but also to educate nurses who think critically, conduct research, question and explore, uphold ethical values, and embrace lifelong learning.

With our distinguished academic staff, contemporary curriculum, skills laboratories, simulation facilities, and clinical placements at leading healthcare institutions, we provide our students with a high-quality learning environment. Our Master’s Programme with Thesis in Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing and Erasmus+ exchange opportunities support students in gaining international experience. In addition, TÜBİTAK undergraduate research programmes and the research support offered by our university encourage them to become active contributors to scientific knowledge. Thanks to the high-quality education they receive, our graduates successfully practise their profession both in Türkiye and abroad.

Our goal is to educate nurses who generate knowledge, embrace innovation, possess a strong sense of social responsibility, and make a meaningful difference in every area of care.
