FACULTY MEMBER HARMONIZATION PROGRAM
Atılım University Department of Nursing implements an orientation program for our new faculty members.
Harmonization Program Objective: The aim of the orientation program is to facilitate the adaptation of newly-appointed faculty members to the university, school, and department, and to help them understand and adopt our institutional culture.
Harmonization Program Targets:
The program aims for the faculty members
- To become aware of the physical facilities and social amenities of the university,
- To benefit from our IT services for academic development,
- To evaluate the research opportunities in terms of academic development,
- To become familiar with the physical structure and human resources of the school,
- To learn about school activities via the school website,
- To adopt the mission, vision, and values of the school,
- To become aware of the undergraduate program offered at the school,
- To feel comfortable and safe in the school and their department.
Harmonization Program Scope: The orientation program includes procedures and information and activities aimed at facilitating the integration of newly-appointed faculty members.
Harmonization Program Duration: Procedures related to newly-appointed faculty members are completed within the first week, while activities aimed at facilitating their integration are undertaken over a period of two to four weeks.
