Atılım University has taken another step toward becoming a sustainable green campus, with our rainwater harvesting and utilization program.
The project involves filtering rainwater collected through gutters on the roof of a building, and collecting it into an insulated underground tank, to be used for garden irrigation whenever necessary.
Initially installed on a single building roof, the project aims to expand to include other buildings in the future.
The rainwater harvesting project is crucial for water conservation, the protection of natural resources, and raising environmental awareness; and it represents a significant step toward efficient resource use and its transfer to future generations.
