Our Accreditations

Our accreditations prove the quality of education that our university has meticulously persisted since its foundation. Our university was included in the “Institutional Accreditation Program” evaluations by the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council in 2021 and was granted full accreditation for five (5) years at the Board meeting dated 25.05.2022.  Thus, in addition to program-based accreditations, business processes were evaluated holistically, from education activities to research and development studies, social contribution activities, and corporate governance studies were subjected to end-to-end evaluation and received full accreditation at the national level.

The documents given in the light of the evaluations regarding the academic competences of the programs in the universities in national and international areas provide objective information to local and foreign candidates, and many issues from academic and administrative staff to physical conditions are evaluated.

Accreditation certifications that are qualified within the scope of international accreditation organizations offer significant advantages to students and graduates in terms of studying and conducting research abroad, especially in terms of diploma validity.

It is required to gain ground to reach desired levels in terms of accreditation which has been seriously taken into account in Türkiye in the recent years. Approximately 400 of the 29.000 programs are accredited, showing the massive room of improvement.

At Atılım University, the number of accredited programs and the accreditors are as follows: MÜDEK, for 8 out of 13 School of Engineering; FEDEK for all 4 School of Arts & Sciences programs; MİAK for the School pf Fine Arts, Design and Architecture Program in Architecture; TURAK, İLAD, STAR for School of Business programs in Tourism and Hotel Management, Public Relations and Advertising, Business Administration (Turkish), Business Administration (English), International Trade and Logistics, Economics (Turkish), Economics (English), Political Science and Public Administration, International Relations programs; as well as 2 PEARSON accreditations for the School of Foreign Languages.  In addition, our School of Civil Aviation continues its activities by completing the regulatory processes with the Directorate General for Civil Aviation for 3 departments.
