Atılım University Diplomas to Bear European Qualifications Framework Logos
Diplomas from ten Atılım University programs are now eligible to bear the logos of the “Turkish Qualifications Framework”, and the “European Qualifications Framework”.
The qualifications of 129 undergraduate programs in 39 Turkish universities have been added by the Turkish Qualifications Framework Council to the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF) database for the first time in the history of the Turkish higher education. As a result, the diplomas from 129 undergraduate degree programs are now eligible to bear the logos of the Turkish Qualifications Framework (TQF) and the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). 10 of these 129 undergraduate degree programs are Atılım University programs, which are:
- English Language and Literature
- English Translation and Interpretation
- Computer Engineering
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Metallurgical and Materials Engineering
- Software Engineering
The TQF is the national qualifications framework representing the qualification principles gained through vocational, general, and academic education programs including primary, secondary and higher education; as well as other methods of education, designed in line with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).
Meanwhile, the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) is the eight-level framework based on learning outcomes, serving as a converter tool between different national qualifications frameworks. The EQF aids with the transparency, comparability, and transferability of diplomas and certificates of individuals, and ensures comparability of the qualifications in different countries and institutions.
Please note: Logos will only be printed to diplomas in line with the instructions from the Higher Education Council. For updates, please follow the official Atılım University web page, or the announcement on our Atılım Blink mobile app.
