Message from the Program Coordinator
Dear Students,
In our Medical Laboratory Techniques program, we train “medical laboratory technicians” who have internalized professional ethical values, are socially sensitive, perform well, and are equipped to provide great convenience to physicians and patients in the diagnosis, differential diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of diseases.
Today, the health sector is one of the best-invested and fastest-developing sectors. As the health sector is growing, the demand for qualified medical technicians is also booming. Medical laboratory technicians who perform experiments, tests and analyzes and report the findings, are also responsible for controlling the test devices and tools at laboratories.
With the title of Medical Laboratory Technician, our students are able to find employment at many institutions and organizations in the health sector, especially in hospitals, medical faculties, genetic disease diagnosis centers, special analysis laboratories, research centers of health institutions, and food industry corporations. With the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS), our students may transfer to 4-year departments such as Biology, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Biotechnology, Biotechnology and Molecular Biology, Genetics and Bioengineering, Nursing and Health Services.
With our experienced and dynamic teaching staff and the most advanced technology-based educational tools and laboratory facilities, Atılım University Vocational School of Health Services provides comprehensive education, both theoretically and practically, throughout the 2-year period od study. By focusing on practical courses, we aim to provide our students with the necessary professional experience as they study.
Atılım University is a student-centered university that aims to produce and apply knowledge and to train highly equipped individuals at national and universal levels. We will be glad to have our youth, yourselves, among us in this field; as essential players in the health industry, with a wide array of job opportunities. Our greatest ideal is to provide qualified labor to the health sector, with you.
