Our Students are Preparing for their Professional Careers through Multidisciplinary Projects
02.02.2026

A project proposal titled "Otonom Su Altı Roketlerinde Kusursuz Yunuslama Açısının Hassas Kontrolü," submitted by a team of Electrical-Electronics and Mechanical Engineering students, was among the projects supported under the 2025-2026 Atılım University Students Research Career Support Program (ATAK). The project team includes Enes Kaan Turan, Emre Karaman, Giga Shakarishvili, Sezgi Kadriye Güçlü, and Zeynep Gökçe Yolsal from the Electrical-Electronics Engineering Department; and Irmak Nurman, Zehra Sıla Nurman, Yasin Dalkılıç, Sena Hazıroğlu, Efe Göksu Ergül, Efe Berk Avcı, Ege Atay, and Yiğit Kılıç from the Mechanical Engineering Department.

The project develops engineering solutions for highly precise control of pitch angle in autonomous underwater rocket systems.

The study, which addresses sensor systems, control algorithms, and mechanical design components with a holistic approach, allows students to apply their theoretical knowledge to real engineering problems. This project, carried out with the support of the ATAK Program, contributes to the development of students' technical and research competencies, especially in defense industry and advanced technology fields.

We congratulate our students and wish them continued success.
