The MUDEK Evaluation Team visited our department.

Within the scope of the re-evaluation process carried out for the renewal of our department’s 5-year (full) accreditation—granted by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs (MÜDEK) and valid until September 30, 2026—the MÜDEK Evaluation Team conducted a visit to our department between March 30 and April 1, 2026. This visit was carried out to assess the quality of our educational activities, review our continuous improvement processes, and examine the compliance of our program outcomes with national and international standards.

During the visit program, the evaluation team held comprehensive meetings with the department administration, faculty members, research assistants, students, alumni, and external stakeholders. In addition, classrooms, laboratories, and other educational infrastructures were examined on-site, and departmental documents were reviewed in detail.

This process provided an important opportunity to highlight the strengths of our department, identify areas open to improvement, and further advance our quality assurance culture. We would like to thank all our academic and administrative staff, students, alumni, and stakeholders who contributed to the visit process.

Our department will continue its efforts with determination to enhance quality in engineering education and ensure sustainable improvement.
