Atılım University’s Groundbreaking Pilot Training Research Featured at ATAG 2025

The Department of Pilot Training at Atılım University proudly participated in the Atılım Research Days 2025 (ATAG 2025) with three original research projects, highlighting the department’s commitment to advancing aviation science and pilot education.

The projects presented were:

  1. Industry 5.0 and Digital Revolution in Pilot Training – The Flight Schools of the Future

  2. The Impact of Emergency Alert System in ATAK Helicopters on Pilot Stress and Situational Awareness

  3. Learning from Mistakes: Training CRM and Accident Investigation in Pilot Training

These projects reflect the department’s forward-thinking approach and dedication to integrating technology, safety, and human factors into pilot training.

The Department of Pilot Training extends its sincere appreciation to the Rector of Atılım University, Prof. Dr. Serkan Eryılmaz, for his continuous support throughout the process. Special thanks are also given to Mr. Yalçın Zaim, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, for his visionary leadership, and to Ms. Zerlin Zaim, Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees. The department also acknowledges the significant contributions of the ARGEDA-TTO (Atılım University Technology Transfer Office) Directorate in supporting the development and realization of these projects.
