Flight Simulator Center, Officially Open!

ATU Flight Academy, active under Atılım University, has introduced a next-gen flight simulator for our students in order to strengthen our training infrastructure. This investment aims to enhance the quality of practical flight training and prepare students for the aviation sector with stronger competencies.

FNPT-II Simulator by HAVELSAN

The simulator to be used in ATU Flight Academy training programs has been manufactured by HAVELSAN and is at the FNPT-II (Flight and Navigation Procedures Trainer II) level.

The simulator has been approved by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), and flights conducted on the simulator may be logged in the official flight training logbooks of students.

A Realistic and Practical Training Experience

Decked with advanced technological infrastructure, the FNPT-II simulator:

• Provides a training environment close to real flight conditions
• Enables the direct application of flight and navigation procedures
• Allows different weather conditions and emergency scenarios to be experienced safely

This way, students transform their theoretical knowledge into practical skills and significantly improve their professional competencies.

🛫 Simulator Training Scope

ATU Flight Academy uses the FNPT-II flight simulator for the following:

• SEP (Single Engine Piston) – Single-engine aircraft training
• MEP (Multi Engine Piston) – Multi-engine aircraft training

With these programs, students develop their individual flying skills and their teamwork coordination and communication competencies.
