Department of Automotive Engineering – Our Students at MÜBAK 2026 (04-05.06.2026)

The fourth Atılım University Engineering Sciences and Researches Student Congress (MÜBAK 2026) was held on 4–5 June 2026 at the School of Engineering, Atılım University, under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Yılser Devrim, Dean of the School of Engineering, and with the support of the TÜBİTAK 2223-B programme. The congress opened with invited talks by Prof. Dr. Vehbi Çağrı Güngör, Executive Vice President of Turkcell, and Prof. Dr. Narayanaswamy Balakrishnan of McMaster University, Canada. Our department was represented by seven oral presentations across the two days as below:

Our department also contributed to the running of the congress. Prof. Dr. Hasan Umur Akay, Head of the Department of Automotive Engineering, chaired sessions MÜBAK 0402-01 and MÜBAK 0502-01, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Emin chaired session MÜBAK 0501-04.

The congress concluded on 5 June with an award ceremony, accompanied throughout by a poster exhibition and a closing gala held at the School of Engineering. The department congratulates all of our students who presented their work at MÜBAK 2026 and thanks the faculty members who supervised and supported them.
