Operating room services technicians are also integral in this multidisciplinary work. They are auxiliary surgical health personnel who prepare all surgical materials used in the operating room and ensure their use during surgery, they assist the surgical team in the situation and manner deemed appropriate by the physician during the surgical procedure, they clean the surgical materials at the end of the surgery and prepare them for a new surgery, and are also well equipped in the practical and theoretical sense in other areas of health sciences in a multidisciplinary manner. For this reason, qualified operating room technicians who adhere to the ethical and moral rules of their profession are important for the functioning of the health care system.

It is necessary to exhibit high attention and responsibility, to be patient and meticulous, to show the ability to cope with stressful and emotional situations, to prioritize patient safety and satisfaction, to be prone to cooperation and teamwork, to have effective communication skills, to be compatible with flexible working hours, to have analytical thinking ability and, most importantly, to have a researcher spirit.

The OR Services Program accepts students on the basis of their Basic Skills Test scores (TYT).
4. Where do OR Services Program students study and attend courses?
Theoretical and practical courses in the Operating Room Services Program are presented at Atılım University Ahlatlıbel Campus.
5. What courses are included in the OR Services Program?
In addition to basic medical courses, our program students are offered an intensive training program with practice courses to help them improve in their fields.

12. How would you describe the physical education setting of your program?
Our program offers a physical setting that is suitable for the uninterrupted execution of field-specific education processes and for our students to experience the latest technological devices. Our students may complete their vocational training at our practice and simulation rooms, and in classrooms suitable for student capacity.
13. What are your scholarship rates?
Our OR Services Program students may receive full, or 50% scholarships.
14. What Undergraduate Degree Departments Receive Students from the OR Services Program via the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS)?
Operating Room Services Program students may transfer to undergraduate programs via the DGS.
15. May I double-major in the OR Services Program for a second diploma?
Students who meet the specified conditions and success scores in the OR Services Program are provided with the opportunity to get a second diploma with a Double Major Program.
