Atılım University Was Awarded Diploma Supplement Label by the European Commission

Atılım University was deemed suitable to be awarded “Diploma Supplement Label” by the European Commission in 2013.

Atılım University applied to the Turkish National Agency for “Diploma Supplement Label” on May 15, 2013 as a result of the internationalization studies carried out by the Directorate of Registrar’s Office and the Directorate of Information and Communication Technologies together within the scope of Bologna Process. Diploma Supplement examples leaving the preliminary evaluation stage behind, were also evaluated by the European Commission and were deemed suitable to be awarded.

Diploma Supplement (DE) is defined as a supplementary document given in addition to an undergraduate diploma and aims at consolidating international transparency and ensuring recognition of the skills acquired, diplomas, degrees and certificates in an academic and professional manner. According to the declaration made by the Turkish National Agency on December 18, 2013, 29 out of 90 countries which applied to the European Commission for “Diploma Supplement Label” in 2013 within the scope of Bologna Process and were deemed suitable to be awarded were Turkish universities and Atılım University was among those 29 universities.

Diploma Supplement Label (DE Label) awarded by the European Commission gives students the opportunity to be recognized internationally with regard to their undergraduate education.
