IT Services Management - ITIL Workshop

An ITIL Workshop organized by the Departments of Software Engineering and Information Systems Engineering has been held on April 07, 2011 between 14:30 and 17:00 at the Cevdet Kösemen Conference Hall.

Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) is a set of concepts and practices for Information Technology Services Management (ITSM), Information Technology (IT) development and IT operations. ITIL gives detailed descriptions of a number of important IT practices and provides comprehensive checklists, tasks and procedures that any IT organization can tailor to its needs. ITIL training programs and certification become more and more popular in the IT community.

This workshop is organized to inform personnel and students of Atılım University on ITIL, with the support of BT Bilgi Teknolojileri Limited Şirketi which is the pioneer of ITIL studies in Turkey. The subject is also directly related with the IT Services Management MS Program which has been started at the beginning of the 2010-11 academic year.
