The Design Story of a Magazine - Get Started with InDesign - Workshop

The workshop titled "The Design Story of a Magazine" was held between 13:30 and 15:30 on Wednesday, April 26 with the participation of İşler Tıkırında Communication Agency Head Hakan YILDIRIM.

In the first phase of the workshop attended by 21 students, layout, composition and design language in magazine design were explained. Later, the topic of Design in InDesign was handled practically. At this point, especially the use of columns and photographs was demonstrated, and students were provided with sample work.

What is Adobe InDesign?

A wide variety of materials such as interactive PDFs, books, magazines, posters and enclosures can be produced with Adobe Indesign, a component of Adobe Creative Suite software, which also includes good programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat. With the program, text can be designed using various tools such as advanced typography controls, visual effects, and the capacity to create multi-page documents with linked text and images. InDesign users can import and export files in different file formats including PDF, EPUB, and HTML.
