Atılım University School of Business Faculty Members Take Role in Ankara Tourism Master Plan Search Conference

Atılım University, Department of Tourism Management and Department of Business Administration took important roles in the "Ankara Tourism Master Plan Search Conference" held in Ankara from September 12-14, 2025, under the coordination of the Ankara Governorship and Ankara Metropolitan Municipality.
The event, attended by Department of Tourism Management Chair Prof. Dr. İbrahim Birkan, Vice Chair Prof. Dr. Gonca Güzel Şahin, Dr. Fehmi Buğra Erdal, Research Assistant Tuğrul Toker, Department of Business Administration Chair Prof. Dr. Dilaver Tengilimoğlu, and Research Assistant İpek Atik, hosted strategic discussions aimed at strengthening Ankara's tourism potential.
During the conference, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Birkan served as moderator at the Accommodation Infrastructure-themed table, while Research Assistant Tuğrul Toker acted as rapporteur at the same table. Prof. Dr. Gonca Güzel Şahin contributed by sharing her work at the Sustainability Approach-themed table. Assistant Prof. Dr. Fehmi Buğra Erdal participated in the Human Resources and Tourism Education table. Faculty of Business Administration Department Chair Prof. Dr. Dilaver Tengilimoğlu served as moderator at the Health Tourism table, while Research Assistant İpek Atik assisted Prof. Dr. Tengilimoğlu at the same table. Our departments' faculty members shared their views and suggestions at these tables, supporting projects and initiatives aimed at developing Ankara's tourism.
In this meaningful event, Atılım University had the opportunity to bring its expertise in tourism and business fields together with sectoral stakeholders.
