Prof. Dr. İbrahim Birkan from Atılım University Attends Global Zero Waste Forum

Professor Dr. İbrahim BİRKAN, Head of the Department of Tourism Management at Atılım University Faculty of Business, attended the Global Zero Waste Forum organized by the Zero Waste Foundation in Istanbul from October 17 to 19, 2025, with the support of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. The theme of this year’s event was “People, Places, Progress,” where experts, public representatives, academics, private sector managers, and non-governmental organizations from around the world came together to discuss issues related to the environment, sustainability, and circular economy.
