Seminar: Reasons of Brain Drain Among Physicians: A Field Study

The seminar, organised by the ARGEDA-TTO Directorate and attracting great interest, hosted as speakers our University’s Chairperson at the Department of Business, Prof. Dr Dilaver Tengilimoğlu, and our University’s Vice Dean of the School of Business, Prof. Dr Elif Eşiyok Barut. The seminar took place on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the School of Business- Cengiz Yenerim Conference Hall.

Following the opening speech by Entrepreneurship and IPR Specialist Burak Şengül, the speakers delivered their presentation titled “Reasons of Brain Drain Among Physicians: A Field Study,” which is also supported under the TÜBİTAK 3005 program, and shared the relevant process and their valuable work in this field with the participants.

In the presentations, the mobility of human resources in the healthcare sector, the main dynamics of migration, and the effects of this situation on Türkiye were discussed in detail; up-to-date data and analyses of the completed research on the subject were shared, and solution proposals were presented.

Following the presentations, sapling certificates donated in the name of the speakers by the ARGEDA-TTO Directorate, in appreciation of their valuable contributions, were presented to them by our Director, Prof. Dr Atilla Cihaner.
