Course Objectives The aim of this course is to develop an introductory knowledge in the Public Finance course and to give an overview of the classical, modern and alternative fiscal theories and to make students aware of the dynamics and roles of basic fiscal processes.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • The concept of market failure is recognized
  • Tax Revenues, Public Expenditure concepts
  • Public income types are comprehended
  • Basic approaches in the theory of finance can be distinguished
  • Historically, the change in the concepts of the theory of finance is understood
Course Content The fundamental theories that have separated finance from economics to develop as an independent field of research.
