Course Objectives The aim of this course is to teach the conceptual development of the right to healthy work, the legal, social and organizational aspects of occupational health and safety, the basic risks in the work environment and the ways of protection, and occupational health and safety practices in the world and in Türkiye.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • At the end of this course, students will: - Have basic information about work safety in Turkey.
Course Content Occupational health and safety basic concepts, purpose and importance, occupational safety and security services, risk, danger, primary, secondary and tertiary protection concepts, accidents at work, occupational diseases, basic prevention methods, occupational health and safety in the workplace, biological and chemical risk factors, physical and psychosocial risk factors, emergency plans.
