Course Objectives Introducing industrial design field to students, developing infrastructure for the thinking system regarding product design.
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Perceives the concept of consumer in product design.
  • Analyzes comparison and market approach in design process.
  • Learns decision making processes in product design processes.
Course Content This is a theoretical course, which aims to introduce the profession of Industrial Design to students. The course includes general information on the technical, artistic and sociological contents of the profession and in this way, the basis for the construction of students' knowledge on the design history and culture is intended to be formed.
