Course Objectives
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
Course Content Introduction to type of retaining walls; importance of site investigations for deep excavations; active and passive pressures acting on the retaining wall; type of support systems like ground anchors, strutted excavations, anchor bulkheads; monitoring of deep excavations; limitations for lateral and vertical displacement of the retaining structures.
