Course Objectives To determine the importance of HRM in organizations, to introduce students to the applications of HR in organizations.

  • To have a general understanding of Human Resources Management
  • To understand the functions and benefits of HRM in organizations
  • To understand the job analysis, human resource planning, recruitment (including Internet recruiting) and selection
  • To understand the employee and labor relations
Course Content Strategic human resource management, certain ethical, legal and social considerations, staffing, human resource development, compensation and benefits, safety and health, employee and labor relations.
