            ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE 2021-2022 GRADUATION CEREMONY

• The graduation ceremony for the Academic Year of 2021-2022 takes place on June 24-25-26, 2022, in three sessions, at the Amphitheater.  

• The ceremony is for the graduates of the Fall and Spring Semester of 2021-2022, the Summer School of 2021-2022, and the Fall Semester of 2022-2023.

• Students are to attend the ceremony with their graduation caps and gowns, and their appropriate attire. (Shorts, flip-flops, sandals, etc. will not be appropriate.)  Students may receive their caps, shawls, and gowns from the distribution unit at the School of Business (next to the Stationery) between May 16 - June 17 2022, at between 10:00-12:00 and 13:00-16:00. To receive their ceremonial attire, students will be required to present their student identification cards, and a letter proving their deposit payment of 200.00 TL. Students are required to pick up their ceremonial attire within the dates provided to attend the ceremony.

•  Ceremonial attire may be picked up by people other than students themselves; on the condition that such students scan their student IDs (or, their Turkish Citizenship ID Cards if they graduated in Fall) and send it to ismail.akbaba@atilim.edu.tr via their .student email accounts, should they be unable to visit themselves. Students are to return their attire between June 24 - July 15, 2022, to the same unit within business hours (and until 20:30 on the days of the ceremony). Caps, shawls and gowns will not be available for pickup at any other time.
• Students are to receive their caps, gowns and shawls in a garment bag, from an Atılım University official. Due to health measures, students may not try on different gowns for size.

• The seating arrangement and the seat numbers for students receiving their attire are to be published at our website. Attendees are expected to take their seats at least an hour before the ceremony begins.
• Since students will be invited to the stage with respect to a list of names, we urge you to pay attention to the presenter, and be seated only at your assigned seat. This is to aid us with the progression of the ceremony, and with the presentation of your diplomas.
• A professional team will be photographing and videotaping the event. The ceremony will be live streamed on the official YouTube account of the Atılım University Alumni Association.
• We urge our guests to remain at their assigned seats and designated areas rather than approaching the stage even to take photos or videos, to ensure the smooth progression of the ceremony.  

• Since the District Directorate of Health is required to verify the diplomas of the students from the Departments of Nutrition and Dietetics, and Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, under the School of Health Sciences (the process may take 20 to 30 days), students from these departments will only be receiving a Certificate of Success, to receive their actual diplomas at a later date.

• If you are a Spring semester student having gained eligibility to receive your diploma at the ceremony;

• • Please check the administrative approval for your graduation approval status via the “Graduation Approval Status” page under the “Course Registration and Graduation Transactions” menu on the ATACS system. If your administrative approvals are incomplete, you should contact the departments with missing administrative approvals to request information, and if any, complete your payment or delivery transactions regarding the fees, or the materials that you may have (books, devices, sports equipment etc.); until 17.06.2022.

• • No diplomas will be issued for the graduates of the Fall of 2021-2022.
