THIRD RANKING IN THE YOUNG TRANSLATORS CONTEST

The results were announced for the 6th Young Translators Contest held in Istanbul by the Ministry for European Union Affairs on January 16, 2016. Fatma İldem Erbayar, our fourth year student, ranked third in English in the contest in which totally 110 students, 72 of whom competed in English, from 28 universities providing education in translation and interpretation had participated. Following the certificate ceremony to be organised at the Ministry for European Union Affairs, she will be awarded with a visit to be paid in April to the EU institutions located in Brussels. We congratulate her and wish her continued successes.
