24th National Neuroscience Congress Speaker

Asst. Prof. Zeynep Ateş participated in the 24th National Neuroscience Congress, held at Boğaziçi University from 10 to 13 September 2026, which brought together numerous national and international researchers.
At the congress, Dr. Ateş delivered a presentation entitled “Changes in Brain Activity and Laterality in Single-Sided Deafness”, in which she presented research findings on neuroplastic changes associated with single-sided hearing loss and the role of laterality in this process.
Continuing her scientific research on the effects of hearing loss on the central nervous system and the changes occurring in brain organization, Asst. Prof. Zeynep Ateş is congratulated on her valuable contributions to the fields of neuroscience and audiology, and we wish her continued success in her academic studies.
