Atılım Ranks 4th Among Turkish Foundation Universities in Times Higher Education 2018 World Universities Ranking

Prepared by English ranking organization TES Global, Times Higher Education (THE) World Universities Ranking was announced at the World Academic Summit organized at King’s College in London between 3-5 September 2017.

The ranking is based on research, education, references, industrial income and internationalization criteria in order to evaluate the universities who are eligible to be involved in the ranking.

17 Turkish universities were involved in the ranking which covered 981 universities around the world last year, while 22 Turkish universities competed among 1102 universities this year.

Even though none of the Turkish universities managed to rank among the top 300 universities, four universities succeeded to rank in the top 500.

Ranking among the top 401-500 universities last year, Atilim University founded its way into 601-800 range. Atilim University shares the fifth place with Gebze Technical University, Hacettepe University, ITU and METU, as the universities in the same range are ranked in alphabetical order.
