Dear Students and Prospective Students,

Welcome to the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Atılım University.

Aerospace engineering is a field that transforms scientific knowledge into designs and technologies, from aircraft to satellites. Working in this field requires a strong foundation in engineering, as well as curiosity, the ability to think across disciplines, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

In our department, we want our students to develop expertise in fundamental areas such as aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, and control, and to apply what they learn through laboratory work and design projects. Our aim is to educate engineers who approach problems scientifically, work effectively in teams, and turn their ideas into practical solutions.

Our location in Ankara offers students opportunities to learn more about the organizations and activities in the aerospace sector. Together with our academic staff, we aim to support students in their research, projects, and professional development while providing an environment where they can discover their own interests.
