Outdoor Plant Production
his year, the Directorate started producing outdoor ornamental plants to be used in the landscaping works at our University.
We produce with cuttings. Our ornamental plants to be produced this year are:
- Pinus nigra (Black pine)
- Cedrus libani (Lebanon cedar)
- Buxsus sempervirens (European box)
- Forshitya intermedia (Border forsythia)
- Berberis thunbergii atr. (Crown of thorns)
- Cornus alba (elegantissima)
- Phrycanta coccinea (scarlet firethorn)
- Ligusrum ovalifolium (garden privet)
- Euonymus japonica (Japanese spindle)
- Juniperus media pfitzeriana glauca (juniper)
