Course Objectives
Course Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
Course Content Molding sands and sand casting; refractoriness test; mold making practice; CO2 molding, core and mold making with organic binders, heat curing binders, core oils and core resins, methyleneblue test; production of cast irons; inoculation, chill testing of cast iron, casting of nonferrous metals and alloys; solidification simulation, rapid prototyping and 3D printing applications in casting production.
