Mandatory Internship Insurance Procedures for International Undergraduate Students

International students participating in mandatory internships are required to apply for a "Work Permit Exemption Certificate" and complete their internship application using the issued certificate once approved.

Applications must be completed online directly by the student.

Pre-Application Requirement

Before starting your application on the portal, you must complete the "Work Permit Exemption Form for Foreign Students" and submit it to your department's internship coordinator.

Application Steps

  1. Log in:

    • Students with a Foreign ID Number (YKN): Log in via e-Devlet.

    • Students without a YKN: Log in using your passport details.

  2. Education Information: Fill in your academic details.

  3. Application Location: Click "New Application" and enter the location details.

  4. Sector Selection: Under the "Sector Selection" screen, select "Education Sector and Internship" and choose the "Student Subject to Mandatory Internship" category.

  5. Employer Details: Enter the workplace and employer information.

  6. Upload Documents: Attach all requested documents.

  7. Submit: Complete your "Work Permit Exemption" application.

  8. Track Status: Monitor your application status through the portal.

  9. Payment: Upon approval, pay the fee specified in the system.

  10. Delivery: Receive your official Work Permit Exemption Certificate via cargo.

Important Notes

  • User Guide: Students who need the "E-Exemption Application Guide for Foreigners" can request it from their department internship coordinator.

  • Timeline Recommendation: Due to processing times, it is strongly recommended to apply at least one month prior to your scheduled internship start date.

  • Requirement for Insurance: Internship insurance entries cannot be processed for students without a Work Permit Exemption Certificate.

  • To avoid any issues, please complete the process on time and submit all internship documents alongside your Work Permit Exemption Certificate to your Internship Coordinator.
