In addition, employment opportunities are possible in the fields of nuclear medicine and radiotherapy. With the program, we aim to train qualified and equipped health care personnel who may work in these fields.
2. What are the qualifications required for aspiring Medical Imaging Techniques Program students?
To become a medical imaging technician, one needs to be aware of their responsibilities, have knowledge of general body anatomy and basic diseases, be familiar with technological developments and be able to follow developments in their field, be able to empathize with patients; while remaining attentive and devoted to the profession.

The Medical Imaging Techniques Program accepts students on the basis of their Basic Skills Test scores (TYT).

Theoretical and practical courses in the program are presented at Atılım University Ahlatlıbel Campus.

Their duties involve obtaining two-dimensional and three-dimensional images of the sections deemed necessary by physicians using medical imaging methods. They also find employment in various units in the fields of nuclear medicine, and radiotherapy.

Our program offers a physical setting that is suitable for the uninterrupted execution of field-specific education processes and for our students to experience the latest technological devices. Our students may complete their vocational training at our practice and simulation rooms, and in classrooms suitable for student capacity.

Students of the Medical Imaging Techniques program may receive full, or 50% scholarships.
13. What undergraduate degree program departments receive students from the Medical Imaging Techniques Services Program via the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS)?
The programs in “Nursing”, and “Nursing and Health Services” receive Medical Imaging Techniques students with the DGS exam.
