Clinical Practices

Atılım University Department of Nursing conducts clinical and field practices in collaboration with various health and educational institutions to help students integrate their theoretical knowledge with practice. Our students gain practical experience in institutions providing healthcare services at different levels, through our affiliation with Medicana International Ankara Hospital and in cooperation with the Ankara Provincial Directorate of Health.

In addition, within the scope of the course Public Health Nursing, conducted in cooperation with the Ankara Provincial Directorate of National Education, our students participate in health and nursing practices in schools. Through these practices, students actively participate in health education, health screenings, and activities aimed at promoting and protecting health.

Clinical and field practices are executed under the supervision of our faculty members and clinical nurse mentors; where the aim is to develop students' professional competence, communication, teamwork, clinical decision-making, and evidence-based care skills.
