PO 1

Sufficient knowledge in mathematics, science, and Metallurgical and Materials Engineering; the ability to use and apply this theoretical and practical knowledge in solving complex engineering problems and modeling material systems.

PO 2

Comprehension of the scientific and engineering principles regarding the structure, property, processing and performance of material systems and integration and application of the knowledge gained in these four fields to solve materials selection and design problems.

PO 3

Ability to identify, formulate and solve complex engineering problems; ability to select and apply appropriate analysis and modeling methods for this purpose.

PO 4

Ability to design a complex system, a process, a component or a product to meet certain requirements under realistic constraints and conditions and select appropriate materials; ability to apply modern design and material selection methods for this purpose.

PO 5

Ability to select and use modern techniques and tools necessary for the analysis and solution of complex problems encountered in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering applications; ability to use information technologies effectively.

PO 6

Ability to design and conduct experiments, collect data, including the use of statistical and computer methods, analyze and interpret results for the investigation of complex engineering problems or Metallurgical and Materials Engineering related research topics.
