The mission of the School of Civil Aviation is to train staff with required skills in order to keep pace with today’s technology so as to develop technical information and the knowledge necessary to answer both present day’s and future requirements of the sector.

The school has three departments; these are the Department of Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance, the Department of Avionics, and the Department of Aviation Management. The first two departments aim to train qualified staff to service in this sector, while the Aviation Management Department focuses primarily on innovative and competitive administration, and leadership skills among individuals.


The vision of the School of Civil Aviation is to create the departments of Airframe and Powerplant Maintenance, Avionics, and Aviation Management, to recruit academic staff, establish modern laboratories and application-testing facilities, and initiate projects based on advanced technology, to be accredited at the national and international level.
