Avionics Laboratory

 The Laboratory is established to introduce electrical and electronics components and their real life applications to undergraduate students. Students practice Electric Circuits, Electronic Circuits and Digital Circuits courses in the Laboratory. They can also detect problems on circuit boards and repair them.

Aircraft Communication and Navigation Laboratory

The Laboratory is used to give the students a good understanding aircraft’s avionics equipment. In the Laboratory, students participate in applied trainings and assembly avionics equipment used in real aircrafts. Students also develop logical and methodical approach to troubleshoot avionics faults inserted by the instructor.

The purpose of the Laboratory is to deliver information to students on multi-engine electric system of aircrafts. Students not only learn the functionality of each component, but they also develop logical and systematic approach to perform troubleshooting tasks. The system is laid out to depict a typical aircraft electrical system, and contains standard aircraft components and wiring.

Cockpit Instrumentation Laboratory

The Laboratory aims to give cockpit instrumentation training for electronic flight instruments and electronic engine display. Three degrees of freedom instrument panel permits full demonstration of attitude and directional gyro functions.

Bu laboratuvar, lisans öğrencilerine analog ve sayısal elektrik-elektronik aksamlarını ve bunların gerçek hayattaki uygulama ve kullanımlarını tanıtmak amacıyla kurulmuştur. Öğrencilerin ikinci ve üçüncü sınıftayken almış oldukları Elektrik Devreler, Elektronik Devreler ve Sayısal Devreler derslerinin pratik uygulamaları bu laboratuvarda yapılmaktadır. Laboratuvar aynı zamanda öğrencilere devre kartları üzerinde hata bulma ve onarım yapma imkanı da sunmaktadır.

Bu laboratuvar, öğrencilere hava taşıtı aviyonik ekipmanları hakkında bilgi vermek için kurulmuştur. Öğrenciler, gerçek yaşamda kullanılan aviyonik ekipmanları, tıpkı bir hava aracında olduğu gibi bağlayarak pratik ve uygulamalı eğitim yapabilmektedirler. Öğrenciler, eğitmen tarafından oluşturulan arızaları bulup düzeltme imkanını da bu laboratuvarda bulmaktadırlar.

Hava aracı elektrik sistemi eğitim laboratuvarı, bir hava taşıtının çok motorlu elektrik sistemi hakkında eğitim vermek amacıyla kurulmuştur. Öğrenciler bu laboatuvarı kullanarak yalnızca her bir bileşenin işlevini öğrenmekle kalmaz, aynı zamanda da arıza giderme görevlerini de gerçekleştirirler. Laboratuvar, tipik bir hava taşıtı elektrik sistemini yansıtacak şekilde oluşturulmuş ve standart hava taşıtı bileşenleri ve kabloları içermektedir.

Bu laboratuvar, Elektronik Uçuş Aygıtlarına (Birincil Uçuş Ekranı-PFD) ve elektronik motor ekranına (Motor Takip Sistemi-EMS) yönelik Kokpit Enstrümantasyon Sistemi eğitimini vermek amacıyla kurulmuştur. Üç açılı bağımsız gösterge paneli, konum ve yön işlevlerinin tam anlamıyla görülebilmesine imkan vermektedir.
