Nutrition and Dietetics Program Educational Objectives

The educational objectives of the Nutrition and Dietetics Program are:

  • PEA-1. To educate dietitians who implement scientific and evidence-based nutrition practices aimed at protecting and improving individual and public health,
  • PEA-2. To educate dietitians who are committed to professional ethical principles, have a developed sense of social responsibility, and are able to work in an interdisciplinary manner,
  • PEA-3. To educate dietitians who follow current scientific and technological developments, are able to think critically, and adopt lifelong learning,
  • PEA-4. To educate dietitians who can communicate effectively and provide nutrition services appropriate to different individuals and community groups.
