Registration Procedures for Integrated Master’s Degree Programs

For students accepted into the program, “Integrated Master’s Degree Program” student rights are automatically defined in the course registration system. Starting from the following semester’s registration period, the student may begin taking graduate-level course(s) with the approval of their academic advisor. A student enrolled in an integrated master’s degree program cannot make any changes to the chosen master’s program.

Undergraduate Education Duration within the Integrated Program

The student is obligated to successfully complete their registered undergraduate program within eight semesters and maintain a GPA of at least 3.00 throughout the integrated program.

Graduate Courses and Course Numbers to be Taken During Undergraduate Study

Students cannot enroll in doctoral courses, master’s theses, research methods, or seminar courses. Graduate courses taken within this scope will appear as “non-credit” on the transcript, will not be included in the undergraduate GPA, and their grades will be documented separately. During undergraduate study, a student may take at least one and at most two graduate courses per semester. The total number of graduate courses taken across the seventh and eighth semesters cannot exceed four.

Withdrawal or Failure in the Integrated Master’s Degree Program

Students will lose their rights within the Integrated Master’s Degree Program if any of the following conditions occur:

  • Failure to complete the undergraduate program within eight semesters.
  • Failure to maintain a GPA of at least 3.00 throughout the integrated program.
  • Failure to officially register for the relevant master’s (with thesis) degree program in the first semester following undergraduate graduation.
  • Voluntary withdrawal from the program.

In the event of dismissal from the Integrated Master’s Degree Program for any of these reasons, the student’s undergraduate graduation remains unaffected. However, dismissed students cannot use the graduate courses they completed to substitute for other courses in their undergraduate or graduate curricula.

Registration to Master’s with Thesis Program After Graduation

Students must complete their final registration for the relevant master’s with thesis program in the first semester following their undergraduate graduation. The student must provide the required documents (ALES score, foreign language, etc.) valid during the period they apply to the master’s with thesis program.
