Atılım University Department of Computer Engineering

Artificial Intelligence Minor Program

The Artificial Intelligence Minor Program will start from the 2025–2026 academic year. Students enrolled in the undergraduate programs of our Faculty of Engineering and the Department of Mathematics will be able to participate in the program within the scope of the Minor Program Directive and under the conditions and quota determined by the University Senate.

Objective:
The Artificial Intelligence Minor Program is designed to provide academically successful undergraduate students, who are enrolled in a major program, with foundational knowledge, theoretical background, and practical skills in the field of artificial intelligence. The aim is to enable students to understand rapidly evolving AI technologies, integrate these technologies into their own area of expertise, and build a solid foundation for advanced studies.

Scope:
The Artificial Intelligence Minor Program consists of courses on machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and related programming languages. The program aims to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical application skills. Within the program, students will:

  • Develop competencies in fundamental areas of computer engineering,
  • Learn basic concepts of artificial intelligence,
  • Analyze and implement modern AI algorithms,
  • Gain the ability to develop solutions to real-world problems.
